Is U.S. Media Done With the Ryan "Policy Wonk" and "Numbers Guy" Lie?

Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan was never a "policy wonk"Ryan was never a "numbers guy".  His "path to prosperity" and then the Romney/Ryan tax proposal were shams -- neither balancing the budget nor increasing revenues.  Ryan's "plans" contain no real numbers.  They was cover for massive tax cuts that would create an economic crisisThis does not a "policy wonk" makeRyan's budget failed even the most basic arithmetic -- he cannot credibly be called a "numbers guy."

But without any real justification, this is what the media told the public the moment Ryan stepped into the spotlight with his ALEC/Koch non-budget scam.  Paul Ryan lost his bid to be Romney's VP and he still doesn't get it.  Paul Ryan is not a serious man.

The more important question is, "Does the media get it?"

If there is any justice in America, Paul Ryan would be done as a national figure -- this dog had his 15 minutes of fame and Ryan spent it telling lies about running world-class marathons, climbing an impossible number of world-class mountains, and even deceiving by pretending to wash clean pots and pans at a soup kitchen in an outrageously staged photo-op that hurt the St. Vincent's meals program that that he barged into after the meal was done and the place was cleaned up.

Paul Ryan is a sham -- will the media tell us the truth now or will we get more flim flam
-- false proclamations that Ryan is a "policy wonk" and "numbers guy".

The only "achievement" that Paul Ryan has to show for his 2012 VP bid is that Ryan is perhaps more dishonest than Mitt Romney -- if you look at Romney's record of being untruthful, an amazing achievement on Ryan's part.

Many are now proclaiming that, even though Paul Ryan retained his congressional seat, he is the biggest loser from the fall elections (more HERE, HERE, and HERE).  This could be true -- it will depend on how the media chooses to present him and his failed ambitions.

Paul Ryan is once again proving himself to be no "policy wonk" as he misrepresents what this election was all about -- there were stark choices between President Barack Obama and the Romney/Ryan ticket.  Voters rejected Romney/Ryan because of the issues they stood for -- a REAL policy wonk would see this -- Paul Ryan don't get it; he doesn't even have a clue.

A REAL policy wonk cold do better than making excuses for his loss with thinly-veiled racist slurs like:
I don’t think we lost it on those budget issues, especially on Medicare, we clearly didn’t lose it on those issues.  I think the surprise was some of the turnout, some of the turnout especially in urban areas, which gave President Obama the big margin to win this race.
He can't be a "numbers guy" if his defeat at the hands of Barack Obama was a "shock".  Despite what the mainstream media reported -- this was not hard to see coming.  The REAL numbers didn't and don't lie.  A REAL "numbers guy" would not explain loosing his home town and its entire county by shrugging it off because, "I’m a Republican,"

Paul. Ryan. Is. Not. A. Policy. Wonk.

Paul. Ryan. Is. Not. A. Numbers. Guy.

Anyone that told you that in the past was wrong -- anyone that tells you this in the future is a bold-faced liar.

If the media tells us the truth, Paul Ryan has had his day in the sun and will not grace a national ticket again.  It is only through republican gerrymandering in Wisconsin that he kept his seat in congress.

Does Paul Ryan have a bright political future? Depends on whether the media tells us the truth about him and his role in the Romney/Ryan embarrassment.
