Paul Ryan No Policy Wonk, Writes Bill to Empower Rapists

The media, which has falsely held Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan up as a "policy wonk" and "numbers guy" is again providing cover for one of the most indigenous politicians of our times.  That is saying a lot -- Paul Ryan ran on the failed presidential ticket of chronic flip-flopper and habitual liar Mitt Romney.

Mitt Romney slunk away into the shadows.  Paul Ryan is once again working on his pro-rapist agendaPaul Ryan has written and is promoting a bill to allow rapists to sue the women they rape.

Does Paul Ryan even know that the bills he writes, endorses, or votes for mean?   Paul Ryan is no policy wonkPaul Ryan is no numbers guyMitt Romney and Paul Ryan represented the biggest tax-dodgin' ticket to ever run for the White House.

Don't expect to hear it in the mainstream media -- the folks that created the myth that Paul Ryan is a "policy wonk" and "numbers guy" (more HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE) have too much disinformation invested in this man to finally start telling the truth.

Paul Ryan has once again sponsored a bill that would make it possible for a women’s rapists to sue his victim.  Ryan's bill declares which declares that life begins with fertilization, and would give states the right to ban all abortion, even in the cases involving incest, rape, or the life of the mother.  If a woman who was raped in a state that banned abortions went to a state that didn't ban abortions and had an abortion, her rapist could sue to stop the abortion from happening, and likely win the case.

Paul Ryan is not a serious man and has a history of making bizarre statements -- and that's being polite.  He makes public statements that can be shown as false.  His 2012 republican convention speech was stunningly dishonest.

Paul Ryan, has misrepresented himself as a world-class marathon runner, a mountain climber extraordinaire, and staged a recent faked photo op pretending to wash clean pots and pans at a soup kitchen, has been shamelessly promoted in the media as "policy wonk" and "numbers guy" despite clear evidence he is neither.  Paul Ryan's budget has no facts nor numbers and it doesn't balance the budget -- it blows a monster-sized hole in the federal deficit with massive unpaid-for tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans.

But it gets even worse.  Not only has Paul Ryan praises the work of Ayn Rand (video) and cited her novel "Atlas Shrugged" as a major influence on his worldview.  He has publicly proclaimed it was required reading for his congressional staff.
Ayn Rand, more than anyone else, did a fantastic job of explaining the morality of capitalism, the morality of individualism. --- Congressman Paul Ryan, 2009
From VOICES "You Can't Make This Crap Up" department, Ayn Rand is the philosopher that inspired Anton LaVey to found the Church of Satan.  Since Ms. Rand is the "the mother of American Satanism" and Paul Ryan can be demonstrated to be a follower -- it is legitimate to ask why the mainstream media and religious right promotes this radical extremist and Ayn Rand fanatic.
And now, from VOICES "You Can't Make This Crap Up" department.  Paul Ryan, in his first official appearance since the election, grabbed headlines today complaining that President Barack Obama's health care reform will "will collapse under its own weigh".

Paul Ryan is making these alarmist proclamations even though Obamacare saves money and the GOP plan that Romney/Ryan costs $109bn.  And remember, Paul Ryan is the guy that ran on a budget with "secret details."

So just how does the media get away with holding Paul Ryan up as a credible national candidate, "policy wonk" and "numbers guy"?
